He parried her moves using no particular form, just whatever worked at the moment. Her variety was good, above average. Her speed was adequate. Her footwork was passable. Her grip was decent. Her style of choice, however, was predictable.

He counted the number of times she left herself open to a fatal blow, just to amuse himself. He gave ground, let her pick up speed, and watched how much of a tempest she could indeed be at her fullest.

She began to incorporate the other styles into her attacks, as she picked up the pace. She put more and more force behind each blow, using the force to strengthen them even more.

"Yes, yes," he laughed mockingly, "Good!" then he severed her lightsaber in half and blasted her with Lightning just short of being fatal. Here was how he dismissed her.

"You have done well, child. You learn quickly. Now go to Cloud City and seek out the Jedi," he tossed her mother's lightsaber back to her and sat in his throne, readying himself for his own planned journey.

Kayada swore silently and picked herself up off the ground and called the saber to her hand. She limped slowly after KD. Her leg had twisted when she landed. She'd have a go at healing it on the ship. She growled, anger still pulsing through her. Next time she'd get him. When she reached the ship, Kayada nearly fell into the co-pilot seat.

"You heard him KD, set course for cloud city."

"Yes Mistress," the droid replied. "Might I say, you did much better this time than the last time Lord Sidious tested your skills."

Oddly enough, the Droid gave her similar compliments for almost everything she did, despite how frequently he intentionally shot at her in the middle of a mission.

she was not in the best of moods.

"Give me a rundown on our target." she snapped.

"Jedi named Geti Holgar. Was on a private investigation of the then-Chancellor Palpatine when Order 66 was given. Since then he has been involved in low-level insurgency against the Empire, avoiding any confrontation with Darth Vader. He has been reported to use heavy acrobatics in combat, both as a means to overwhelm and evade his opponents."

The droid then clicked the hologram projector on the control panel that generated an image of the Jedi.

"Mistress, I do hope you kill this one without too much trouble," the droid attempted to sound encouraging. "This will be your first Jedi target."

"I realize this," she growled, at his comment, she was still snippy.

"I'm going to tend my knee," she said standing,"and then get some sleep. Wake me when we reach our destination."

With that she hobbled out of the room. She could have levitated herself,but she preferred to keep her feet on the ground.

KD-13 set the ship to auto pilot as they entered the Bespin System, and then left to set up a present for his mistress. It was in his basic programming to attempt to kill her whenever the opportunity arose, and here was one such chance. Attacking her during her meditations/sleep was futile, it had learned, but she might not expect traps set up at the exit to her chamber. The droid also set the security systems to read her as hostile, and set the landing coordinates in a bad area of the city.

He then took a few choice weapons and set out to prepare to harass her when she would leave the ship and explore the city.

Kayada awoke as the ship entered the atmosphere. A bumpy ride meant auto pilot. She pulled on her outer robe and checked her equipment.

"That bucket of bolts must need a new memory core," she grumbled.

She exited her chamber, slightly more alert than usual. KD might be her pilot, but he was also supposed to attempt to kill her on a regular basis.

KD had intentionally landed in a Hutt-controlled region of the city. As soon as he left her chambers, the ship would attempt to suffocate her with an atmosphere drain, and heat up immensely. Upon exiting the ship, she would find herself in the middle of a horrible, gang-controlled area full of smugglers and various lowlifes.

If she got past that, her trusty droid was waiting for her, sniper blaster in hand.

Geti sat in his private quarters of Cloud City, meditating and focusing on the Force. These were dark days, but the Light Side was there. He found comfort and solace in that fact. Then he sensed her. There was another force-user on the planet. A emissary of the Emperor. Bespin was an out of the way world. There could be only one reason why she was here. Him.

"So he found me at last," Geti murmered to himself. "I must prepare."

Kayada sensed the atmosphere drain almost as soon as she exited her chambers.

"Damn droid," she growled.

She hurried into the cockpit and attempted to override the procedure. Failing at that she settled for opening one of the escape hatches. She lept out into the streets of the city and in typical KD style, she was in the gang-controlled portion of the city. She sighed, she was gonna have to sell him for scraps, one of these days.

With near-instantaneous speed and notable accuracy, Kaydee aimed a shot for her head the moment she was on her feet from a rooftop several platforms away from her. Without stopping to look to see if she was dead, KD fled into the cantina, but remained mildly inconspicuous and set up a second ambush here.

Kayada sensed the bolt too late reach for her saber and rolled out of the way with another growl. KD was just another nuisance, she needed to find this Geti and get on with her mission. She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment searching with the force, which took far more concentration then it should have. She needed to work on that.
