The Journeyman shook his head, "They aren't looking. They're holding the spot until the Deceiver can come here himself. The rivalry between these two is particularly historied. Even for the Fallen."
One of the older Dwarves with them commented then, "They nearly brought Tyr down after they took it. The Watcher barely made it out alive, and the Deceiver chased him back over the Cloudspine, ignoring our fleeing forces."
"None of this talk is getting us closer to a decision!" Havard spat. "We can't go in altogether, so we'll have to split up!"
The scout fir'Bolg nodded, "Perhaps a dozen of us could get in and get out quickly enough to avoid drawing down the entire garrison." |

"As much as we hate to split up, it may be the best approach after all. Whatever we do we can't sit here all night." She said. |

"I'm going," Havard said.
"As am I," the Journeyman added.
With a remarkable willingness, nine other berserks and fir'Bolg volunteered quickly. Whether it was courage or a want to get out of here quicker, it served the same purpose. |

"I'll go." Eleena volunteered.
She would go and do what she could. Besides, they were going into a mine, he size might come in handy in those narrow passages. |

Getting in and staying unnoticed was a lot of touch and go. Anything killed had to be killed quickly and silently. They kept to shadows and moved as tightly as possible.
When they reached the mine itself, they were actually relieved. Until they remembered why they were there.
"So... now we poke around for an arm?" Havard asked. The Journeyman nodded.
It was dark, damp, and smelled of rotting flesh in the mine shaft. It was going to be unpleasant. |

"What if they have patrols down here, waiting for us?"
Eleena was following close behind Havard and the hair on the back of her neck was prickling. |

"What if?" he asked. It did not make an incredible amount of difference. If they did, they would have to avoid them. It was not as if they could fight them down here. The noise would attract those in the town.
It also meant that there were more here than just the two hundred. The berserk shook his head. They weren't relaxed anyway. Everyone was on edge. Her talking did not make anyone happier, either.
In any event, they would not be waiting. If that was the case, the Warlock would have just had them killed earlier. |

Eleena sighed. She was probably just getting herself worked up being in the enclosed space, too easy to make it a trap. They continued on searching for the arm as they went. |

The Journeyman spat, "I found the arm, but I can't get to it. It's buried under a few feet of boulders," he said quietly to those nearby. He looked at Eleena, "Reach down there and get it."
Havard gathered the rest of them up. They were going to leave, very soon. |

Eleena nodded and stuck her her head in the small space.
She reached around for a minute, "Got it."
She pulled herself back out holding the arm. She wrinkled her nose, she was not exactly fond of holding detached body parts. |

"Now we must flee to the graveyard," the Journeyman said swiftly, and they all eagerly began to leave.
As soon as they were out, however, there was the Warlock. He smiled, and everyone just as swiftly frowned. There were a few oaths sworn behind Eleena as well. |

Eleena stood behind the Journeymen and Havard. She froze as the Warlock smiled at them. She could only imagine what he could do to them.
To you. She reminded herself, Your're the one carrying the damn arm. |

Havard and the Journeyman both rushed the Warlock. Arrows were sent flying at him, and the other berserks made a dash for it.
Blasts of fire struck several down almost immediately. Havard managed to evade one, and the Journeyman ducked behind a house. The noise would attract unwanted attention. |

Eleena followed the journeyman clutching the arm. It bothered her not to fight, but they needed the arm. She cursed the fact that she did not have two free hands to draw her sword or her bow and fight. |

The Journeyman shoved her out down the road, "Run, don't stop until you are well past the graveyard!" He motioned for the others to follow.
Havard and the others ran faster than Eleena's legs could actually carry her, so she was picked up by a pair of young fir'Bolg archers who were at the lead.
The Journeyman stayed to fight the Warlock. By the time they past the last headstone, Havard, Eleena, the fir'Bolg who carried her and another berserk were all that managed to get out.
They did not stop until they meet up with the rest of their group, They had the arm. Now they had to run. And fast. |
