Born in the land of Edhelhond as the Last Alliance was forged between Elves and Men and Sauron suffered his first defeat, he grew up with the shadow of the Enemy lessened somewhat of the lands - nonetheless, however, the troubles of Middle Earth bothered him. Feeling a connection to the other races that his parents did not, he declined to join them right away whenever they sailed west. He traveled to Ered Luin to see them off and proceeded to explore. He discovered that he was particularly skilled with the bow, even for an Elf.
His first stop was Thorin's Hall, becoming involved in the matters of the Dwarves there. He drove off the Dourhands, and witnessed the rebirth of Skorgrim, the fallen Dourhand King. From there, his will was set and his journey across Middle Earth began.
