Kaydee watched the duel in earnest. He was under strict programming protocols to by no means aid her during an assassination, but nevertheless he could not help but root for her quietly. After all, he was rather fond of her.

Most of the patrons had fled, or died. The bar-fight had killed and scared most of them, two lightsabers ignited was too much for them.

Geti swiftly put his acrobatic training into action, and leaped aside in the nick of time, grabbing onto a light fixture and seemingly disappearing.

"So Palpatine sends children to fight Jedi now?" he said. "The Dark Side will only lead you to ruin, child." he emerged from the shadows and pressed his attack once more.

Kayada blocked and pressed on.

"I assure you, I'm no child," she growled

Each time he blocked, she became angrier. For each time he blocked, he stood between her and her goal. If she couldn't beat this jedi, she could never become a sith and she could never kill paplatine. She channeled this into her juyo strikes, becoming more dangerous at the battle raged on. She would not be beaten.

"I would disagree with that," Geti said. "You are still Padawan age, you are still young and there is still time to turn away from the destructive path you have been forced on. " he continued to block easily. She was growing angry now. It was giving her more power, but it was also clouding her judgement. She was skilled at lightsaber-dueling, but still wasn't to the level of a Jedi Knight.

Kaydee's scanners picked up something odd. He was still engrossed in the duel, but he decided to check ahead. An Imperial transport landed not too far away. This did not bode well for either combatant. Kaydee understood as well as any droid what the possibilities for that ship were.

She growled, his acrobatics were annoying. She hated Ataru. The hairs on her neck bristled, something wasn't right, she should end this quickly.

"My fate is not the one you should be worried about," she growled.

She launched herself into the fray once more implementing limited Ataru with her other styles. She hated acrobatics with a passion, which only fueled her hatred for Geti and her eagerness to be done with this battle.

"I think it is," Geti said. "Beneath that hard shell of anger and hatred, I see a child, who is sad and hurting. This is not the answer. Tell me, will killing me truly give you peace? Will it truly give you what you seek? Death merely begets death. You are angry. It is clouding your judgement."

He still had no problem dodging her attacks, and keeping up with her style. She was strong, but she was still only a child. He pushed her back several feet with force push and pressed his advantage.

"You crazy old man. I want nothing more than to see you dead. It'll make my day," she growled.

She landed easily and took the opening stance of juyo.

"And why is that?" Geti asked calmly. "What have I done to earn your enimity? You are a pawn to the Empire. Nothing more than that. Do you really think that your master cares about you? We can continue this fight if you wish - but you will not win. You are tiring, you have not built the stamnia to endure. I have."

He attacked yet again.

Kayada kept fighting, blocking his next series of blows, biding her time. Her will to kill palpatine drove her forward and she shut everything else out,but the horrid memory of her parents. The hate that kept her going, that drove her will to fight further than anything else.

"You failed to answer my question, child," Geti asked. "Why do you wish to kill me? You fight like this is personal for you, yet we have never met before. The hatred is twisting you into something that you are not and something that you do not want to become."

He blocked her next move easily.

Kaydee began to panic. It was as he had feared. The shuttle contained the great Sith Lord, Darth Vader. The droid knew this much: Neither combatant here was a match for Vader. The most he could do was warn them, but they were deep in their own fight, and Vader would most likely be concealing his presence in the Force. He was here for the Jedi, but he would likely kill his mistress as well.

Kaydee hastily began assembling crude launching apparatus.

"I don't answer to you old man," she growled.

She remembered earlier, her utter defeat at Palpatine's hand. This rekindled her energy. She would not lose. She could not lose. She launched herself forward, drawing on the force for energy and stamina. The hair on the back of her neck prickled again, something was wrong. Her gut told her to get out of there,but she could not abandon this mission. She brushed it aside and focused on Geti. The sooner she finished this the better.

"I'm trying to help you," Geti said. "I am not one of your masters on the dark side. You are weakening, I can feel it. You are growing tired. Did you expect to end this quickly?" he paused. He could sense something - not quite right here, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. Nevertheless, he readied himself for another fight.

"Your techinques are crude, sloppy," he said. "You have not perfected it. Your rage is clouding your judgement."

"I will not lose to you jedi," she snapped.

She knew she was tiring,but she would not allow herself to fail. She charged again focusing her energy into her Juyo strikes, known for their force and unpredictability. She also began using the force to help her attack, using lightning among other techniques to help distract him as she attacked.
